Passover Seder for our Troops in Iraq
Our ToTal Sunday School sent Treats for Troops to our brave soldiers in Iraq. Shalach Manos packages were sent for Purim, and Seder kits were sent for Pesach (Passover). The Shalach Manos Packages were packed with yummy goodies as well as heartfelt hand made greeting cards. The Seder Kits included Haggadahs, Hand Made Greeting Cards, Matzo, Grape Juice, Charoses, Matzo Ball Soup, and lots of yummy goodies - all kosher for Passover, of course. Here are photos and a letter sent to us by Chaplain Craig Muehler of the Seder in Al Asad Iraq:

Dear Rabbi Lederman,
Greetings Rabbi and all members of your wonderful congregation! I pray that this note finds you and your loved ones very well. I just wanted to take this opportunity to write you a letter of thanks for the Seder Kits and all the goodies that you so graciously donated to the Jewish Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Civilians who are serving on Air Base Al Asad, Iraq. You made the day of our Jewish personnel! We had Rabbi Seth Phillips lead the Seder Meal with 15 Jewish personnel attending, plus guests. Our folks are truly grateful for your loving generosity! Your loving, self-sacrificial service was and is truly an inspiration to all of us. Most importantly, thank you for the prayers! They are appreciated. May G-d bless and keep you.
Sincerely, CDR Craig G. Muehler, Chaplain, 3D Marine Aircraft Wing, Al Asad, Iraq.
